It was precisely on this day in 1990 when the Hindus of Kashmir were made to flee their home state—Kashmir.
When they were killed, raped and tortured, no one even came to know about their persecution, leave pain. Today, after 35 years, at least this change has come, where their ‘genocide’ is being discussed on national television and social media. A time where they are not getting sidelined for being Hindus, and where their tears can also be captured and broadcast.
What is also being talked about is how, in their last days in Kashmir, their neighbour Karim Chacha gave a warning to kidnap their daughters and did kidnap some of them too.
Hindus are witnesses to the time when some parts of India were annexed by Pakistan. First, in 1947 and second, in 1971. Armenians, too, between 1914-24, saw how their neighbours, just like the neighbours of the Kashmiri Hindus, came to kill them—after the announcement was made to do ‘jihad’ from the very mosques, which were a part of their home state in which they also dreamt of living. But, then religion.
If you do not read, what’s the fault of the Islamists? In Quraan, verses 9.123 and 58.22 explicitly state it is Allah’s order that you (the believer) attack the infidels (kafirs). Whosoever will be lenient against them, he/she will be bound to face Allah’s wrath (Quraan 4.144).
I often hear why the Kashmiri Hindus did not face the jihadists and chose to run? Why did they not fight against them?
Really? Are we that dumb? It’s been 1400 years and we still do not want to understand the truth of this mafiastic religion?
The answer lies in the army. Talk to your family members/ friends in the army and you’ll get to know that there is a system in it called peace-time station and field posting. On a peace time station, if there is a quarter available, an army officer can keep his/her family with him/her. But, on field posting, the family cannot be kept along as there is a possibility of the fight getting skirmished. And have you seen the family of a soldier going on the field to fight against the enemy of the nation, ever?
The same goes with those Kashmiri Hindus, who were living with their families in Kashmir—which was theirs, until they were made to leave (chalib), convert (ralib) or die (galib). Imagine yourself in their situation and choose to say whatever you want to.
Those who attacked the Kashmiri Hindus weren’t the members of a normal family, but a militia—group of people who have had military training. Every member of that group was a potential killer, brutal murderer, and an inhuman rapist. On target was that Hindu trader, who also had a family; that small kid who also came into the world to live and that woman, who wanted to live a life with his husband. But, none were left untargeted.
A militia can be fought only by a militia, not the members of a normal family. A normal Hindu has quit violence 10,000 years ago. He does it sometimes, mostly when he is first attacked by a mob of those whom the media calls a ‘special community’. A community that took Pakistan in 1947, Bangladesh in 1971 and now aiming to establish India into an Islamic State. Hope you remember the PFI’s India Vision 2047 document.
There are many ways to counter this jihadi militia. But, for this, each one of us will have to firstly accept that such a militia exists, understand the truth and make it understood to our friends and family members as well. Then, see the magic.
